Ok, so Carter isn't really walking yet. He doesn't even roll over. We also don't give him beer, what kind of parents do you think we are? On second thought, please don't post any comments on that topic.
The process of making the video from yesterday is worthy of another post though. We tried a few different methods. As you can see below, the "hide behind" method was a little too obvious.
There were also some face-plants along the way, which is probably all a part of learning to walk. Even Shaylie was concerned.
So, what we posted yesterday was a cropped version of this video.
(Sorry to those of you on iOS and mobile devices who can't see the videos. We will be looking into a way to post video in a more mobile-friendly format.)
Carter has been a little sick again, but he's a trooper and stays in good spirits most of the time. He has really been rocking the tummy time recently and that's been pretty fun.
He's also very into his feet. He loves to grab the toes, especially the left ones.
Finally, we went to a baby consignment sale today and picked up some new toys and books. We came home with a bouncy-activity-thing which he seems to really like. He's not quite heavy enough to really touch the ground and get bouncing yet, but I'm sure that will come all too soon.
