OK, so I struggled with posting this video because it's sort of bad - the camera (my phone) loses his face a few times because I forget to keep looking at my video screen. But I REALLY wanted to post a video of his laugh. That said, Brian and I think it's super cute since he goes through so many emotions: happy, then silly, then sort of bummed, then kinda sick, then at the last frame - downright disgusted...
I was gone all day today for a pharmacist thing, but Brian and Carter were busy at home trying some new things:

It went pretty well, but Carter kept making faces when he had a mouthful - we couldn't tell if he didn't like the flavor or if he just didn't know what to do with it once he had it in there. We're either holding him up or trying to feed him in the Bumbo seat. He is definitely holding his head up well and he sits when supported, but he doesn't sit by himself yet. He HAS started kicking his legs up in the air and sometimes rolling onto his side from his back. That's about as far as he goes, though - and his tolerance for tummy time is increasing thanks to Papa's persistence. He'll laugh fairly consistently and he is really trying to follow the conversation around the room. He's wearing 6-9 month clothes these days, too. Big guy!
