Carter was born on 10/10/10, at 35 and 1/7 weeks. He arrived a little bruised from his crazy trip into our world, but otherwise in good health. At 5lbs 9oz and 17" long, he was a small little package, but good things come that way! At first we struggled with some temperature and blood sugar issues, but with plenty of skin-on-skin time with Mom and Dad, they cleared right up.
It was lucky for all involved that Gram and Grandad Jordan, along with Aunt Jenn, happened to be visiting for the weekend. Marni (Mitzi) hopped in the car and got to Annapolis the next day, ensuring that there was no shortage of eager baby holders. Despite some weight loss and a growing yellow tinge, we got the ok to head home on Wednesday the 13th and happily packed our bags.
